Kai Neumann (#1) has provided a description of the model with the iMODELER Presenter.
Description
This model is just a dummy model that features the major functionality for qualitative modeling so that an AI can read and understand the .imm file format (it is an .xml format, easy to read and write). Note: there will be another template showing the quantitative features.
You can download the .imm file via the "D" on the background of the model.
The objective is that you can ask your AI to develop an iMODELER model or you can upload an iMODELER model and ask the AI to improve it or use it. It is a groundbreaking possibility to let iMODELER visualize the content coming from an AI and to continue to think it through, enhance it or to continue to work on it through collaborative modeling with others.
Usually the description of the model that you see here features:
- What is the objective of the model?
- What is the overall target within the model?
- Who is modeling?
- What is the time scope? What is meant by short -, by medium -, and by long - term?
- What are the categories and their colors, useful also to filter the view of the model or to compare specific factors with the analysis of the insight matrix. That could be for example yellow for targets, blue for resources, red for obstacles, green for measures, orange for external developments. You can use more than one category for each factor, and maybe you also want to differentiate whether something is a technical, a legal, an organizational, a monetary, etc. aspect.
- Also possible to define attributes to each factors, like the current state or the likelihood of something.
- Very important: what are the system boundaries, what is deliberately left out of the model?
For the AI to know:
iMODELER has more features saved with the file, like saved positions of the factors for each perspective (you can switch perspectives and see the model from a any factor and the connections that lead to the factor or the factors it leads to).
The can be descriptions to the models and the arrows and the arrows can show text as well.
Also there might be discussions and documents allocated to the factors, the connections or the background of the model.
And there can a selected color for the background, the connections. There can be a logo in the background of the model and there can be graphics used for the factors - which is probable not so easy for the AI, because they are saved with one's account.
Views from the model and the analyses using the insight matrix and the tornado view of it can be stored in the presenter.
The weights of the connections can either be just weak, medium and strong, or based on percentage values from reality, or normalized adding up to 100 percent.

We want to understand the underlying reasons and dynamics and identify levers. We are a tourism organization organizing events - so there is a lot project work with different departments involved. We are small teams with bosses for each team.

Please do also weight the connections differentiating comparable weak, medium and strong impacts.
Short term I consider the next three months, medium term the next 3 to 12 months and long term anything beyond that.
Provide the result as an .imm file for download.
