Looking just at the flow of refugees we see what is more or less effective. Interesting for example that securing the borders might develop an opposite effect. Clicking on the 'show why' button in the matrix/bar chart we see that this would trigger the people smuggler.

More interesting seem to be a look at the matrix of 'what we want'. Here we see that ....

... refugees might be beneficial for us while expensive measures are not

When we show the attribute of the current situation through the size of the factors we can see that the reasons for a flow of refugees remain high while the most effective measures apparently are not used, yet.
